Last week The Ring Art Center presented The Trilogy Exhibition featuring New York artist Dan Colen, Dash Snow and Ryan McGinley during Art Basel Miami. Curated by Sonia Taborda the exhibition found its highlight with a charity auction at The Webster in South Beach.
Having three of New York’s who-is-who in the art scene in one exhibition was already great, but experiencing the energy during the auction of 3 of their pieces, the aura of the über-charismatic auctioneer and of course the buying and spending behavior of the art buyers.
