team MADE recently packed up the cars and went on a road trip to
hannover and checked out the vernissage of david lachappelle’s
latest exhibition, “earth laughs in flowers”, at the kestner museum.
lachapelle’s latest collection features quite a change in direction
from his past work, as he moved away from photographing celebrities in
flashy and provocative scenes, and focused on a more subdued
still-life theme that maintains the unique lachapelle style and feel.
mister lachapelle we salute you – one of the greatest.
the exhibition also featured the work of berlin-born artist julian
göthe, which included beautiful wall installations, sculptures and
collages – definitely a hidden gem we were surprised to uncover – we
loved what we saw.
