If you’ve ever woken up after “the best idea ever” came to you in a dream, only to forget it in the next hour, you know exactly what we’re going on about here. For dreams are sneaky little bastards. They’ll come to visit once and flash some monumental epiphany at you, which then evaporates without a trace at the first threat of daylight. Then there’s that one dream that breaks through and sticks. A spark that ignites a chain reaction of inspiration that spreads like wildfire, culminating in a complete, grand rendition of the original concept. These are the dreams great things are made of. MADE is the brainchild of tadiROCK, a Berlin-based artist who envisioned—in a dream—the concept for the ingenious creative space. The materialised vision is simple but powerful: A platform dedicated to providing artists of all disciplines with physical, philosophical and financial space to create, play and exhibit. And it doesn’t hurt that the lighting, colours, walls and furniture rearrange themselves (in mysterious high-tech ways) to accommodate even the wackiest of dreams.
